Claiming is how a piece you already have a right to becomes really yours, on chain. The right can come from two places: a drop being given away as an airdrop, or an Inception Rabbit you hold that carries claims with it.
The button, and the one it turns into
On a piece that gives you claims, the button is a gift with the number you have left:
If you already have work running, that same place shows gears instead:
That is not the claim button being broken. Only one batch runs at a time, so while yours is going the gears take you to the Bulk Manager, where you can see the jobs and clear them when they are done — Follow a batch.
And clearing matters: until the finished jobs are cleared, the gift does not come back — not on this piece and not on any other you could claim from. If the gears are where you expected the gift, that is what to do.
What you need
- A wallet, unlocked.
- An active subscription — with one exception: claims that come from your Inception Rabbit do not require one. See Subscription.
- The claim fee: 80,000 sats, charged per piece claimed.
Some claims ask you to hold a specific piece
A claimable item can require you to own a particular ordinal — the piece that proves you belong to the group being rewarded. Zoide checks your wallet for it before doing anything.
If the check cannot be completed (the service that indexes the chain is having a bad moment) you will be told exactly that. It is not the same as «you are not the owner», and we are careful not to say the second when we mean the first: your right does not disappear because a lookup failed.
It runs in the background
A claim is queued, not done while you wait — the same machinery as a bulk operation, whether you claim one piece or forty. That is deliberate: inscribing takes as long as the chain takes, and a browser tab is a bad place to hold that.
What this means in practice:
- You claim. The fee is charged and the job is queued.
- The jobs panel shows its progress, and you can stop pending work or clear finished entries.
- When it completes, the piece appears in your wallet without reloading.

If it says the drop is unavailable
A rabbit claim takes a piece from whichever airdrop drop is live at that moment. If none is, you get a clear «drop unavailable» — nothing was charged and your claim is still yours to use later.
How to know it worked
The piece is in your wallet and the job shows as completed. If the job says completed and the piece is not visible, that is a display lag, not a lost piece: I claimed and I don't see the piece.
