The market does not keep its own list of what is for sale: it reads listings from the chain's index. That is what makes a listing work without us holding anything — and it is also why a brand new listing is occasionally a step behind.
Check in this order
1 · Did the listing transaction go through? Look at your wallet: a listed piece shows as listed, with its price. If it does not, the listing did not complete and there is nothing to wait for — list it again.
2 · Give the index a moment. It reads the chain, and it does not read it instantly. A minute is normal.
3 · Was it already listed? A piece can have one active listing at a time. If one already exists, a second attempt does not replace it — cancel the first, then list again at the new price.
4 · Is the piece excluded from public browsing? Three filters can leave a piece out of listings, and one of them —only reviewed tools are shown— has nothing to do with your piece being wrong. See My piece does not appear in the market.
5 · Search for it directly. If the piece's own page shows it as for sale but a filtered list does not, the piece is fine and the list is behind. It will catch up.
The one that looks like a bug and is not
You cancelled a listing and it still shows as for sale, or the other way round. Different parts of the chain's index update at different speeds after a delist — that is upstream of us. Reload after a minute rather than cancelling twice: cancelling twice costs another fee.
