When something is gated, Zoide tells you what is missing and how to get it instead of showing a dead button. There are three reasons, and they are not interchangeable.
The three reasons
| Reason | What is missing | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Subscription | A paid subscription | Buy one — it takes a payment and it is immediate |
| Rank | A high enough rank | Rank comes from the rarest piece you hold. You cannot buy the rank; you get the piece that carries it |
| Creator tier | Gold, Silver or Bronze | Earned by what you have published. It cannot be bought either |
Only the first one is solved with money. That is on purpose: a rank you could buy would not mean anything.
Why rank is not on sale
Your rank is derived from the rarity of what is in your wallet, recalculated when your wallet syncs. There is no product called «rank»: paying Zoide does nothing for it. What raises it is holding a rarer piece, however you come by it — bought, minted or won.
The same goes for a creator tier: it comes from your published work and its performance.
If you have it and it still says no
Your rank is recalculated when your wallet is synced. If you just acquired the piece that should raise it:
- Resync your wallet — the button is at the end of the toolbar on your wallet page.
- Reload and try again.
If you just paid for a subscription and it still gates you, reload the page: your session is reading the old state.
