Anything that is for sale carries the cart, wherever you find it: in the market, in a collection, or on the piece's own page. Pressing it does not buy anything yet — it opens the breakdown below.

What you pay

The seller receives exactly the price they listed. On top of that, and funded by you, go the market fee, the creator's royalty if the piece declares one, and a referral commission if you arrived through somebody's link.

You see the breakdown and the total before confirming. This is that dialog — the percentages are the ones in force right now, the price is an example:

If the total surprises you, that is the moment to look at it, not after. Prices always come with their equivalent in your currency, so you are not converting satoshis in your head.

What happens when you confirm

One transaction, signed with your keys in your browser, does all of it at once: pays the seller, pays the fees, and moves the piece to your ordinals address.

There is no escrow and no intermediate state. Either it is broadcast and everything happened, or nothing happened — you cannot end up having paid without the piece, or holding a piece you have not paid for.

How to know it worked

Your BSV balance goes down by the total.
The piece appears in your wallet.
And it reaches your bell, with the amount:

The bell. Anything that moved money carries its amount — green in, red out.

If the balance moved and the piece is not there yet, the purchase went through and the display is behind: I bought it but it's not in my wallet.

If somebody buys it first

A listing is first-come, first-served: there is no reservation and no queue. If the piece goes while you were deciding, you are not charged and there is nothing to undo.

If it is not for sale

You can still make an offer. It costs a fee to publish and it does not commit you to anything: Make an offer.
