I was outbid and I don't see my money back

Being outbid pays you, and it pays you in the same transaction as the bid that outbid you — so there is nothing pending.

In a Zoide auction, being outbid is not a loss. The bid that outbids you refunds your bid plus a share of the step — and it does it inside that same transaction. There is no queue, no claim and nothing pending on our side.

So if you cannot see it, it is one of the three things below.

1 · You are looking for the wrong amount

You do not get back exactly what you bid: you get more. Your bid comes back plus what is left of the step after the market fee and the creator's share. If you are searching your balance for the round number you bid, you will not find it.

Amounts arrive like this — the figure to look for is not the round number you bid

2 · Your balance display is behind

The money arrives at your address on chain. What can lag is the copy your wallet page reads.

Resync your wallet — the button is at the end of the toolbar on your wallet page — and check again.

3 · You were not actually outbid

Two situations look the same from outside and are not:

What it means
Someone bid after you You were refunded with a profit. You are out of that piece
Nobody bid after you You are still the current bidder. Your money is committed, because you are winning

If nobody has bid since you, there is nothing to refund: being the last bidder is how you take the piece.

How to check without asking anybody

The refund is a transaction on a public blockchain. Look up your address in any explorer: if a payment came in at the moment of the next bid, you were paid — regardless of what any screen shows.
