Everything about your account — as opposed to your wallet or your public profile — is at
/settings, and only you can see it.
If you are looking for it in the wallet, it is not there any more. The wallet holds wallet things; this holds account things.
The blocks
| Block | What is in it |
|---|---|
| Contact | Your email and your paymail |
| Location | Your country |
| Social networks | X, Instagram, TreeChat, Twetch |
| Security | Unlocking transactions with biometrics |
| Notifications | Which categories reach you |
Each block saves itself
There is no global save button. A block's save button appears only when something in that block differs from what was loaded, and goes away once saved. The field you changed gets a warning border, so you can see which value is pending.
Only that block's fields are sent. This is not tidiness: one button at the foot of a page of independent blocks does not tell you what it is about to save, and «save my socials» rewriting your email with whatever happened to be on screen is exactly the kind of accident that is hard to notice.
Notifications are the exception: switches save as you flip them, so that block has no button.
Your email does not save with the button
Changing your email goes through verification, never through Save. An address nobody has proven is theirs is precisely what verification exists to prevent, so the Contact block's button reacts to its other fields only.
Biometrics unlock, they do not protect
Turning on biometric authentication lets you approve transactions with a fingerprint or your face instead of typing your wallet password.
It is a convenience on this device, not a second factor and not a backup. Your password still matters, and it is still the only thing that decrypts your wallet — see Back up and restore your wallet.
Your paymail is shown with the same field the wallet uses for addresses — shortened, with a button that copies it whole:
Your language is not in here
The language selector lives in the header, on every page, and it is not part of settings.
You do not need an account to use it. Zoide picks a language from your browser the first time and remembers your choice for the rest of your visit. If you are signed in it is also saved to your account, so it follows you to another browser or another device rather than being something you set again every time.
Seven languages: English, Español, 中文, 日本語, Português, 한국어 and Deutsch.
What is public and what is not
Nothing here is public by itself. Your social handles become links on your public profile, which is the point of entering them; your email, paymail and country do not.
