Earn with an affiliate code

The one way to earn here that needs no capital and no art. How a code works, what you are paid and when, and the two rules that stop it being gamed.

An affiliate code is a discount you can hand out. Whoever subscribes using it pays less, and you are paid a percentage of what they paid.

It is the only mechanism on Zoide that asks nothing of you upfront: no capital, no pieces, no art. You do not have to like NFTs to earn from one.

How you get a code

Codes are granted, not self-served. If you are not an affiliate yet, the wallet shows an invitation to become one — and if you dismissed it, that is what you are looking for.

That invitation lives in your wallet, inside the site. It never arrives as a message or an email with a link, and accepting it never asks you to unlock your wallet or to register an address somewhere. A «you have been chosen as an affiliate» that reaches you any other way is not from us.

If you would rather not wait to be asked, a referral link needs nobody's permission and pays on purchases instead.

What you earn, and when

A percentage of what the subscriber actually paid — after their discount, not before. The percentage belongs to your code, not to the campaign it lives in: two affiliates in the same campaign can have different rates, so your panel shows yours next to the code.

It is paid in the subscription transaction itself, straight to your payment address. There is no balance to withdraw, no threshold and no payout day: when their subscription confirms, you have been paid.

A commission arrives as an amount in your wallet, like any other

Where the money comes from is worth knowing: the commission comes out of the market's share, not out of their discount. They pay less and you get paid, at the same time. Nobody is subsidising the other.

Your panel

The subscription tab of your wallet shows, for each code you hold: the code, its percentage, how many uses it has left, how many it has had, and your accumulated commission.

That figure is commission already received on chain, not a pending balance. It is a record of what arrived, not a promise.

Two rules that will look like bugs

You cannot redeem your own code. It is refused as if it did not exist. Otherwise you would be collecting commission on your own subscription.

One person can only use a given code once, even if the code has many uses left. Those uses are for other people.

Discounts do not stack

If the person would already get a discount for another reason — renewing early, for example — they get the larger of the two, never the sum. Your code is not worth less for it; it just does not add on top.

Codes expire

A code lives inside a campaign with a validity window. When that passes, the code stops working. If your panel stops showing a code, its campaign expired.

One thing to check before sharing it

You need a payment address on your account — that is where the commission is sent. If you have no address, a subscription using your code fails and nothing is charged, rather than going through and quietly dropping your commission. That is deliberate, but it means a broken setup of yours costs somebody else a failed payment.
